According to the most recent census data, by the end of 2010 Montgomery County is expected to be the first jurisdiction in Maryland to grow over 1 million residents. MHA – Mental Health Association of Montgomery County – is dedicated to ensuring that all residents of the county have the opportunity to live the healthiest lives possible, and to make the most of their greatest resources, their minds. Both to celebrate the milestone of our service to over a million residents and to focus new attention on the need to practice everyday mental wellness, MHA has launched The Million Minds Campaign.

With the Million Minds Campaign, MHA is leading the effort to assure that the mental wellness is integrated into the everyday activities of good health and good living in Montgomery County.

Flourish, a magazine-like publication, is being distributed by MHA as a part of its Million Minds Campaign to help the community learn about the importance of mental health, to promote and improve everyday mental wellness and to offer local information and referral resources.
